26 Nov Dr. Nanthira Tina rodvong Speaks at the Public Launch & Forum for the ASEAN Integration Report 2025
Sripatum University International College (SPUIC) is proud to share that Dr. Tina was invited to join the panel at the Public Launch & Forum: ASEAN Integration Report 2025, a key regional event bringing together experts to discuss the future of ASEAN’s economic integration.
This year’s report—developed under the ASEAN Prosperity Initiative (API)—takes a close look at how regulatory complexity and rapid digital transformation are reshaping food and beverage (F&B) trade across the region. The findings highlight several persistent challenges:
• Fragmented and overlapping standards related to food safety, halal certification, labeling, and logistics
• Limited integration within the regional F&B sector due to similar production structures and weak intermediate trade flows
• Uneven development of logistics and cold-chain infrastructure across ASEAN
• Increasing compliance burdens for MSMEs, which remain central to ASEAN’s long-term growth

During the panel session, “Inclusion at the Border: Emerging Challenges for MSMEs in ASEAN’s Food Trade,” Dr. Tina offered her perspectives on how ASEAN can create a more consistent regulatory environment, reduce unnecessary barriers, and leverage digital tools to support small businesses participating in regional food trade.
Her contribution reflects SPUIC’s ongoing commitment to advancing knowledge, fostering regional collaboration, and supporting inclusive economic development across ASEAN.
