Admission Requirements
- Apart from a passion to pursue interest in a desired field of study, applicants must hold IGCSE / GCSE / GCE O-levels Certificate with no less than 5 subjects and no less than C grade;
- or IGCSE / GCSE / GCE A-levels Certificate with no less than 3 subjects and no less than C grade;
- or Test of General Education Development (GED); or IB certificate with minimum five subjects with a minimum score of 4; or IB Diploma;
- or certified M.6 certificate from the Ministry of Education or the equivalent. Grade point average should be satisfactory or above.
- Native English speakers and graduates from an international school where English is a medium of instruction are exempted from intensive English courses upon presentation of high school transcript and approval of academic committee.
- Non-native English speakers are required to take intensive English courses unless one of the following test scores is presented: TOEIC 600, IELTS 5, TOEFL ibt 65, and any other international recognized tests with CEFR level B1.
Application Period
SPUIC runs on a semester system. We welcome all applicants on a rolling basis. Applicants who wish to enroll in an intensive English course before their study should apply before June of each academic year. Applicants who passed the English requirement are welcome to apply before August of each academic year. Applicants who wish to transfer their credits from other institutions are also welcome on a case by case basis. Open house sessions of our program are scheduled on a quarterly basis and arrangements can be made upon availability.
