03 Dec SPUIC Shares Expertise at “Transforming Hospitality Towards Sustainability” Seminar
Sripatum University International College (SPUIC) proudly participated in the national seminar “Transforming Hospitality Towards Sustainability”, organized by the National Productivity Institute under the project Resource Efficiency for Sustainable Hospitality. The event was held on December 1, 2025, from 9:00–10:30 a.m. at the Kensington Ballroom, The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam.
The seminar focused on the theme GREEN SHIFT: Your Hotel’s Next Growth Chapter, highlighting how hotels can adopt resource-efficient operations to improve service quality, reduce operational costs, and create long-term positive environmental impact. This initiative supports Thailand’s growing commitment to sustainable tourism and responsible business practices.
SPUIC was honored to be invited as a guest speaker, represented by:
- Dr. Nanthira Rodvong, Head of the Academic Department, Business Management (International Program)
- Mr. Karn Tritanakul, Lecturer, Aviation Business (International Program)
During the session, SPUIC shared academic insights and practical strategies that empower hospitality businesses to transition toward sustainability. The speakers emphasized the importance of efficient resource use, data-driven decision making, environmental responsibility, and workforce development aligned with global hospitality standards.
This collaboration reflects SPUIC’s ongoing mission to contribute to national development by connecting academic expertise with real-world industry needs. It also strengthens the university’s role in promoting sustainable innovation, particularly within Thailand’s tourism and service sectors.
