Talking about outstanding global airlines, one of them must be Lufthansa German Airlines which is the second largest airline in the world. It is one of the five airlines that form the Star Alliance; the world’s largest airline alliance. In a highly competitive labor market, students who are able to work with this company as airline employees during their cooperative education will have an advantage in a career path in the aviation industry.

SPU-LST Dream Project is a cooperation project between Sripatum University and Lufthansa Services (Thailand) – LST, affiliate company in the Lufthansa German Airlines group and airline service provider with more than 20 international airline customers. International College of Sripatum University is the first higher education institution to officially sign MOU with LST. The MOU involves cooperation in academic, research, academic service, and cooperative education providing opportunities for students to do cooperative training according to Sripatum University curriculum and contract as employees with Lufthansa Services (Thailand). The Dream Project encourages students to practice in the real professional field working in international organization as well as the LST has potential personnel as needed. There are 2 statuses of students participating in SPU-LST Dream Project; internship student at Sripatum University and contract employee with Lufthansa Services (Thailand). Students receive benefits from Lufthansa Services (Thailand) as full-time employees such as salary, uniforms, employee cards, welfares, and plane tickets.

One of the successes of SPU-LST Dream Project is Mr. Thiraroj Chinnarat (Beat), graduate from Airline Business (IAB), who participated in the Dream Project and signed a contract with Lufthansa Services (Thailand). Learning by sharing professional knowledge from senior staff and practical job opportunities leads to his valuable work experience. Currently, Mr. Thiraroj Chinnarat (Beat) is a full-time employee as a Passenger Service Agent and a Student Coordinator of the Lufthansa Group with opportunities to grow in the international aviation business.

The MOU signing ceremony between Sripatum University International College of Sripatum University and Lufthansa Services (Thailand) LST, affiliate company of Lufthansa Group, took place  on November 21st, 2019 at Lufthansa office, Suvarnabhumi  International Airport.

On this occasion, Dr. Kriangkai Pookayaporn, Dean of Sripatum University International College , Ms. Supaporn Peratanasumran, Head of International Airline Business and Asst. Prof. Dr. Vassavat Sutinyamanee, Assistant Dean attended signing ceremony on academic corporation and educational development of students to promote future staff quality and professionalism in International airline business.
